Owner – I work in the office (accounting, mostly) My favorite part of working at The Orchard is giving tours, even though I don’t get to do too many. I love meeting people and hearing how they got engaged and the different ideas they have for their weddings.
Top three pieces of advice for couples who just got engaged?
Don’t stress while planning your wedding. It will be beautiful and no one will know what you forgot or didn’t get done.

Carve out some alone time after your ceremony to savor the moment. It will be over so fast!

Tell us a little about yourself and your position at The Orchard…
I was born and raised in Texas, I grew up just 5 minutes away from The Orchard. I moved out of state in 2007 and after 9 years of living in Las Vegas I am happy to be home in The Lone Star State again! There is nothing like Texas Hospitality! I am a single mom to one beautiful little girl, my Eden Jewel. She is 10 years old and in the 4th grade and we are both absolutely loving living close to our family.
If you could possibly narrow it down, what would be your favorite moment of a wedding day?
Well, I am very sentimental and really love all of the heartfelt and tear-jerking moments the best! I’d have to say my favorite part is when the bride and groom exchange their vows. Especially when they have written their own vows to one another. Hearing the love in their voices as they commit their lives to one another is so precious.
